CourTex Construction has been chosen to partner with Johns Design & Consulting and Tim Klitch to build a second Pickle Ranch in Austin.
The new Pickle Ranch will open in May and will feature 16 world-class indoor pickleball courts. It will be located in north Austin at Braker Lane and I-35. The pickleball venue will feature both indoor and outdoor lounge areas and free parking.
The CourTex Construction team built courts for the first Austin Pickle Ranch on top of a parking garage downtown on West 6th Street. That facility opened October 1 last year with eight outdoor pickleball courts. It has been a great success, and a second location was planned almost immediately after its grand opening.
Like the original location, the new Pickle Ranch will be open to the public by reservation. There is an hourly fee for using the courts, but also a monthly membership option for those who want access to more benefits. Monthly memberships range from $49 to $149 per month, depending upon how many of the offerings you wish to use.
The Austin Pickle Ranch is the brainchild of pickleball pros Ben & Collin Johns and entrepreneur and MLP team owner, Tim Klitch. The Pickle Ranch was envisioned as a place where Austinites can learn to play pickleball, enjoy competition at any level, and socialize with others who love the sport. It was recently named one of Austin’s best new entertainment complexes–and one of the 50 best date locations.
